My friend Roman Guzman from 105.5 The River
was the MC for this concert and he invited me
to come out and take some pics. Having never
shot Mindy before I jumped at the chance.
I got there early for sound check and met
Mindy for the first time. Wow, she is so friendly
and nice, what a great personality she has.
The outdoor venue was packed and she had
the crowd dancing in no time. Mid way
through the show she brought out her friend
Jim Pererik from the Hit 80's Rock group Survivor.
They jammed and did his big #1 smash "Eye of
The Tiger", fantastic!
It was a great hour and a half set and during
the smokin hot encore the speakers actually
got so smokin hot they caught fire! They kept
on playing right on through to the end of the
song and then called it a night.
Mindy autographed a CD for me and I
managed to get one of her fans to take out
picture.
Next it was a late dinner with Roman and then
on the road back home to Lodi. What a great
time it was.
